Bush Tucker
Hunting is a regular activity for Scotdesco residents.  Summer months are spent hunting for wadu (wombat) and cooking it in the traditional way in ground ovens.
It also can be cooked in varied contemporary cooking styles. It has a similar taste to pork. In winter we buy kangaroo tails in bulk and enjoy it cooked in the ashes.
Other bush tucker we seasonally hunt for /gather in our area are kangaroos, sleepy lizard, wild turkey, wild tomatoes etc.
Being only 15km direct route to the sea, fishing is also a regular past time.
